A single of my favourite morning rituals incorporates operating via my street style weblog rolls. If you’re not familiar with street style blogs, they’re essentially ultra-local fashion/photo blogs that showcase people and styles bopping around their hometown streets.
Why do I love it? Because it’s about as real as you can get. I like seeing how trends look on the regular person, how everyday people, not magazine stylists, are putting items together, and what’s coming out of cities all over the world because we all know that fashion starts in the street.
There are hundreds out there, but my preferred choices include The Sartorialist (New York), Pike/Pine (Seattle), Face Hunter (Paris/Global), The Commodified (Vancouver/Canada), Hel-Looks (Helsinki), StyleScout (London), Stil (Berlin), Reykjavik Looks (Reykjavik), Street Fancy (San Francisco), Copenhagen Street Style (Copenhagen), and, of course, Tokyo Street Style (Tokyo).
In the event you have a local or favourite street style weblog, post it up in the comments and share the fashion love.
